Sadness

She knows sadness,

And how to brave a smile,

But have you noticed,

That you haven’t see one in a while?

That means it’s more than sadness,

And it’s made her feel less brave,

And it’s spun darkness and lies,

With whatever happiness she gave.

It’s not sadness anymore,

When she is pale and thin,

And so open up your ears,

And start listening to her again.

She’s been trying to tell you,

In her own way,

That she’s is lost,

And hasn’t been feeling ok.

Just listen and cry,

As she tells you the truth,

“I’m afriad I have become,

Another sad and troubled youth.”
