“You talk too much,”
He told me,
And I laughed at his attempt,
To try to make me act differently.
I don’t talk too much,
Because there’s so much to say,
But if he never saw it then,
Maybe it was best he let me get away.
There are words I never told him,
And thoughts I never shared,
But that is for the best now,
Since I never think he cared.
I’ll never talk too much,
And neither will anyone I know,
Because we all know when to keep things,
And when to let them go.
